    Whatever happend to Leah Dizon?

    After she had her baby she like fell off the face of the earth. She was doing really good in Japan back in 08-10 and then she like died. She was one of the most beautiful talento, I heard she moved back to the US and was working on a comeback but that never seemed to happen.

    I have never heard of her, I actually thought she was a YouTube Guru until I saw which forum this was posted in.

    She is pretty though. Have you tried Googling her and seeing if any sites have updated info?

    Former model and singer Leah Dizon, 26, who left Japan with her daughter after divorcing her husband in 2010, made an appearance before the media in Japan this week for the first time in three years.
    Dizon, who now lives at her mother’s place in Las Vegas with her 4-year-old daughter, appeared at an event held by AXE (a men’s cosmetics brand). “Long time no see, Japan!” she said.
    Dizon said she travels back and forth between Japan and the U.S. She said that during the past three years, she experienced some ups and downs such as the cancellation of a movie she was supposed to appear in, due to a budget shortfall.
    According to the June 25 issue of magazine Joseijishin, Dizon is back in Japan because her ex-stylist husband BUN stopped sending child support. “Apparently his business partner went bankrupt. But he needs to continue his responsibility for his daughter,” Dizon told reporters.
    The couple met in 2008 on the set of a promo video shoot for Dizon’s single “Love Paradox.” The pair were married in October of the same year in what Dizon later confirmed had been a shotgun wedding.

    LOL, OP when I read the title I burst out laughing. Thanks for my morning chuckle.

    No one over here takes this chick seriously. She can't sing, can't act, can't dance. Her appeal was her looks and body but now with the baby and the divorce, nobody is checking for her. She was stupid getting knocked up and married to that hideous ex of hers. A mess is what she is. Japanese child-support and custody laws are very different than the USA.

    Last I heard she was a functioning alcoholic, offering up her puss to anyone around Tokyo who can put her back on. It won't happen though. Her Japanese still sucks too--all this time she spent here and she hasn't become fluent yet???

    I'm so sad to hear that. When I first saw her I thought she was gorgeous, but I have to admit I stopped admiring her after I found out she was a glamour model.

    She also has some circle lenses made after her, but they're not that popular anymore.

    Do celebs in Japan get paid less than celebs in the U.S? She must have made millions with her touring, photobook, tv appearances and album. Where did all that money go?

    Celebs in Japan get paid way less than Americans. Even Japanese CEOs make less than American counterparts. There is no justification here for the exorbitant amount of $$$$ you all pay your entertainers.

    Most 'talent' in Japan is under a contract and they are given spending money. Only when you are really big or have control over your deals will you make a lot of money. The majority of the money goes to styling, travel, paying your manager/agent/etc. By the time it makes it to the talent's hand, it's a paltry sum.

    Leah had a bunch of hands in the pot when she was big back in 07-08. She's a huge ditz so Im sure she just assumed she was making a lot of cash and not actually paying attention.

    Also, Tokyo is an expensive city to live whether you are poor, middle class, or rich. It's more expensive than NYC to put it in perspective. For the amount I pay for my 1-bedroom flat, I could have a 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home in Chicago burbs. In Texas I would have a mansion!

    I doubt Leah was smart with money--she is stupid in all other arenas so I don't expect her Yen situation to be good.

    I've met the girl and was instantly turned off by her ditzy attitude. Japanese entertainment is cutthroat and will eat you up and spit you out. She is just a casualty.
